Montana's big game animals include mule deer, white-tailed deer, elk, antelope, big horn sheep, mountain goat, Shiras moose, black bear, and mountain lion.
We have permits to operate in the Gallatin, Custer, Shoshone, and Beaverhead National Forests and Yellowstone National Park.

These 7-day, 1 guide - 2 hunters, horseback pack-in hunts for elk are
located in the West Pioneer Mountains, which are in the Beaverhead National
Forest, just out of Wisdom, Montana.
The Wisdom area is famous for its elk hunting and offers an excellent
opportunity for trophy bull elk.
It's about a 2 hour horseback ride to our base camp, which is located
at the head of Warm Springs Creek. Base camp consists of three large
hunter sleep tents equipped with army cots, wood burning stoves, Coleman
lanterns, and a drying rack for wet clothes / a large cook tent / heated
shower tent / a large tack tent / horse corral / and game pole.
Our pack trips into the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness offer literally
hundreds of high, pristine, alpine lakes and streams full of a wide
variety of Trout- Cutthroat, Brook, Rainbow, Golden and also a few Arctic
Grayling.
Yellowstone Park pack trips offer secluded fishing
in famous trout waters such as Slough Creek,
Cache Creek, Pebble Creek, Miller Creek, Agate Creek, and the Lamar
River, just to name a few. Whether you go to the Absaroka-Beartooth
Wilderness or into Yellowstone Park, the abundance of wildlife, beautiful
wild flowers, waterfalls, and towering granite peaks offer infinite
photography and sightseeing opportunities.
